Job Title: Graduate Electrical & Mechanical Engineer
Job Type: Full-Time
Location: Akure, Ondo State, Nigeria
Experience Level: 0–3 years (post-NYSC)
Qualification: BSc/B.Eng./HND in Electrical, Electronics, or Mechanical Engineering
Industry: Cocoa Processing / Agro-processing / Food and Beverage Manufacturing

🔧 Key Responsibilities
🔹 Installation & Commissioning Phase
Assist senior engineers and OEM technicians with mechanical assembly and instrumentation setup.
Support PLC wiring, I/O testing, and calibration procedures.
Participate in performance testing aligned with key performance indicators (KPIs).
Prepare SOPs, as-built technical drawings, and preventive maintenance plans.
🔹 Operations & Maintenance (Post-Commissioning)
Conduct daily equipment inspections, preventive maintenance, and basic repairs.
Troubleshoot and maintain electrical drives, pneumatic systems, CIP units, and hydraulic machinery.
Execute root cause analyses for system failures and develop corrective strategies.
Collaborate with production teams to train operators on safe equipment handling.
Support continuous improvement projects related to energy efficiency and machine performance.
🎓 Minimum Qualifications
A BSc, B.Eng., or HND in Electrical & Electronics Engineering or Mechanical Engineering.
Successful completion of NYSC.
0–3 years of post-NYSC work experience (including SIWES or internship).
Strong foundation in engineering principles and a desire to grow in the food and beverage sector.
🌟 Desirable Skills (Added Advantage)
While not mandatory, experience with any of the following will enhance your application:
PLC/HMI programming and industrial automation.
Rotating equipment, motor control centres, or process piping.
Familiarity with CAD tools (AutoCAD, SolidWorks) or Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).
Internship or project experience in FMCG, agro-processing, beverages, or power generation industries.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Safety-conscious with knowledge of permit-to-work and industrial safety systems.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Willingness to relocate to Akure and work in rotational shifts.
