Symbiotic relationships in nature include mutualism, where both organisms benefit, commensalism, where one organism benefits and the other is neither helped nor harmed, and parasitism, where one organism benefits at the expense of the other. Examples include the relationship between bees and flowers (mutualism), remoras and sharks (commensalism), and tapeworms and their hosts (parasitism).
